Elena shook her head. "No way. He never even talks. You're completely making that up."
"I kid you not," drawled Reno, stubbing a cigarette out in a tray. The grin was just a touch evil. "You doubt me? Money where your mouth is, girl. Fifty gil bet."
Rude, oblivious, walked into the lounge, heading for the coffee machine.
Elena said, "You're on," and then to Rude, "Hey. Rude. Do you sing?"
"Bass," was all Rude said. Coffee. Mmm.
Reno laughed. "Pay up, girl! I told you!"
Elena sighed and fished out the gil. handing it over with bad grace. "Bastard."
